As an overall performance view, the BMW x5 doesn't drive any better than the Acura MDX. The overall differences are minor like utilites and features. If we broke it down by ripping at the smaller features than the BMW x5 would be better for a bigger price. In specification comparison the similarities are both vehicles are basically the same size in width, length and height, and have the same basic head, shoulder and legroom available. The only difference is the Acura MDX has much more cargo space than the BMW x5.

When comparing pricing the BMW x5 is priced higher at $73,225,$18,660 more than the Acura MDX which is priced at $54,565. And when you pay more you get more but this only applies to features rather than performance. The audio system in the BMW x5 features speakers of 600,16 watts while the Acura MDX features speakers with 410,10 watts. The BMW x5 comes with accessories like standard cruise control and a electric system calibration selector package while the Acura MDX comes with AC power outlet and adaptive cruise control. The Acura MDX's safety features include a blind spot warning system package, a compact spare tire, radar-based collision preparation system, rear view monitor and side curtain airbags, three rows. For cargo management, the BMW has cargo area partition net, cargo area rails / tracks w/tie downs, cargo cover and liftglass or two-piece tailgate while the Acura MDX features overhead sunglass holder. When it comes to climate control and infotainment, the BWM x5 has more features like high-definition radio, iPod integration, rear air vents with manual controls and telematics service, such as OnStar while the Acura has differnt features such as Satellite radio, an entertainment system, ceiling-mounted and travel information system. The BMW x5 has better features for instruments, lights, and mirrors like power-folding mirrors, steering-linked headlights and auto-dimming driver-side mirror that the Acura does not feature. As for equipment that makes a better performance, both the BWM and Acura have a 4dr SUV body make, a T6 transmission and AWD drivetrain.
